Emergency contraception
Emergency contraception can used to prevent pregnancy if you have had unprotected sex. Our pharmacists are able to provide emergency contraception (morning after pill) following a private consultation.
You need to use emergency contraception within 3 to 5 days of having unprotected sex. The sooner you use emergency contraception, the more effective it usually is.
This service is accessible in all of our pharmacies without the need to book an appointment, simply walk in. Our committed pharmacists are ready to provide confidential consultations in one of our consultation rooms.
Emergency contraception should never be used as an alternative to contraception methods such as oral contraception (the pill).
Following on from consultation, your pharmacist will provide you with emergency contraception free at the point of use, funded by the NHS.
